It was my husband’s birthday on wednesday, which was also the day we flew to Vienna. The birthday present I ordered for him from Amazon got lost in the post, so I had no present… *doh* He had to work all day and when he came home in the evening we had to stress to get to the airport in time. Well, not such a bombastic birthday :)
At least I had his birthday card ready with some lovely words written inside to make up for it.
Am Mittwoch war der Geburtstag meines Mannes, genau an dem Tag an dem wir nach Wien geflogen sind. Ich hatte ein Geschenk bei Amazon bestellt, das anscheinend verloren gegangen ist. Also hatte ich Keines :( Und als er am Abend nach Hause kam mussten wir gleich zum Flughafen stressen. Also nicht gerade das, was man einen bombastischen Geburtstag nennen kann… Zum Glück hatte ich wenigstens seine Geburtstagskarte fertig, die ich dann mit besonders lieben Worten gefüllt habe, um ihn für das restliche Desaster etwas zu entschädigen :)
I stamped the cute Birdie from Whiff of Joy twice, one time on watercolor paper, the second time on sticky back canvas from Ranger.I cut out the banner from the sticky back canvas and coloured it with Twinkling H2Os. It looks like a real banner, I love how it turned out :)
Den süßen Vogel von Whiff of Joy habe ich 2x gestempelt. 1x auf Aquarellpapier und das 2. Mal auf Sticky Back Canvas (eine selbstklebende Leinwand von Ranger). Das Banner habe ich dann aus der Leinwand ausgeschnitten und mit Twinkling H2O coloriert. Es schaut richtig echt aus, was mir richtig gut gefällt.
We are still in Vienna, staying at my parent’s house. Tomorrow is the big party for my father’s 60. birthday. I have a fun comedy sketch prepared, which I will show in the afternoon.
