Tutorial - Karte für Abdrucktausch / cardfolder

Gestern habe ich diese super einfache, aber effektive Karte mit Innenleben gebastelt. Ich schicke damit Stempelabdrücke zu einer Freundin. Man kann aber auch selbstgebastelte Karten, Gutscheine oder Ähnliches darin verschenken. Somit erhalten Kleinigkeiten eine stilvolle Verpackung. Als Motiv habe ich den traumahften HighHopes Engel benutzt, ist der nicht total süß? Auf dem nächsten Foto könnt ihr sehen wie die Karte von Innen aussieht.

Yesterday I did this cardfolder for a friend of mine to send some stamped images with it. Maybe you want to try it, it's easy and gives your stamped images the right wrapping :)
You can also use it to give away self made cards, coupons or similar things. I used the cute High Hopes angel as a cover, isn't she just gourgeous?
The next foto shows the inside.

Material:
- 20x28 cm cardstock
- Schere
- Klebstoff
- Punch um einen Schlitz oder ein Loch zu stanzen (bei mir "horizontal slide" punch von Stampin Up)
- ein Werkzeug um das Papier zu falzen (ich habe einen Embossing Stift von Fiskars verwendet, das geht sehr gut)
- Band

Material:
- 20x28 cm (8x11'') cardstock
- scissors
- glue
- Slot Punch ( I used the "horizontal slide" punch of Stampin Up)
- scoring tool ( I use a Fiskars embossing pencil, it works fine with that)
- ribbon

Zuerst mißt man auf der langen Seite des Cardstocks 14cm und falzt vertikal nach unten.

First you have to measure 14cm (5 1/2'') on the long side of the cardstock and score down vertically.

Nun dreht man den Cardstock auf die kurze Seite, mißt 5 cm und falzt vertikal. Anschließend mißt man 1,3 cm und falzt horizontal auf beiden Seiten.

Turn the cardstock to the shorter side and measure 5cm (2,5'') and score vertically. Afterwards you measure 1,3cm (1/2'') and score horizontally on both sides.

Nun wird die 1,3cm Falzlinie bis zur 5cm Linie abgeschnitten. So entsteht eine Klappe. Danach faltet man die Karte an der mittleren Falzlinie zusammen und schneidet das linke Ende der unteren Hälfte bis zur 5cm Falzlinie hinauf, winkelig ab.

You now crop the 1,3cm (1/2'') scoreline up to the 5cm (2,5'') scoreline and create a flap. After this you can fold the card in half and crop the left end of the lower half at an angle up to the 5cm (2 1/2") scoreline.

Wenn der cardstock geöffnet ist, sollte er wie Foto 1 aussehen. Nun kann man die verbleibende Klappe der 1,3cm Flazlinie umklappen, und zwar auf beiden Seiten.

The cardstock should look like the first picture when it is open. You can now fold the remaining flap of the 1,3cm (1/2'') scoreline on both sides.

Auf die umgebogene Klappe gibt man nun etwas Klebstoff und faltet sie entlang des Falzes nach oben. Nun wird die Karte wieder gefaltet und mit dem Punch auf beiden Seiten ein Schlitz, oder Loch, sowohl durch die obere als auch durch die untere Seite gepuncht.

Put some glue on the folded flap and fold it up to create a pocket. Fold the card in half an punch slots or holes with the slot punch on both sides through the front and the back of the folder.

Wenn die Löcher gepuncht sind, sollte die Karte wie auf Foto 1 aussehen. Jetzt zieht man das Band durch die Schlitze, von innen nach Aussen.

After punching the slots, the card should look like picture 1. Now you pull the ribbon from thourgh the slots from the inside to the outside.

Am Schluss zieht man das band nocheinmal von aussen nach innen und wieder durch den vorderen Schlitz ( man macht das mit beiden Enden). Jetzt kann man auf der vorderseite einen Knoten machen und die Karte nach belieben gestalten.

Completely loop the ribbon across the back of the folder and thread through the slot from the outside in and again through the front slot. (do this with both sides) Now you can tie the ribbon and design the card as you like.
