This is a wonderful stamp, I would love to win it :)

My funniest moment at christmas is when I opened a gift from my SIL ... and inside was wonderful bathsalts and bath lotions.....

unfortunately I had my bathtub removed about a year before and all I had was a shower!!! And YES!, she did know!!!

  2. How fun, I'm the first to leave a comment! That Lizzie stamp is wonderful, and so is the card.
My funniest Christmas memory is probably when my son was about 5 years old. We had some decorative stocking hung up on the wall in the entryway, along with the ones hanging by the mantle. Well, on Christmas morning, we heard him get up and run downstairs. There was a moment of quiet, and then we heard him say, "Oh, there's nothing in the stockings...Santa must think I've been a bad boy..". He had checked the WRONG stockings! Needless to say, we ran downstairs and steered him to the correct ones!

  3. What a cute stamp that is. Thanks so much for giving us chances to win these great images!
My funniest Christmas memory is when I went to visit Santa at the mall with my brother. I loved Santa but my brother did NOT trust this strange man with the red suit. When it came time to sit on Santa's lap, my brother refused to get any closer than about 3 feet. When Santa asked him to come closer and talk to him, my brother told him that he could hear Santa just fine from where he was standing, and then he shouted out his gift wish list to Santa!

  4. Well, it wasn't so funny at the time, but looking back now (20 years later) I can laugh. The family was traveling on the train for St. Nickolaus Day (Dec. 6) but of course us kids still put our boots outside the train cabin doors and in the morning, they were filled with chocolates and chocolate oranges and for me a cute little plushie animal. There was much ooohing and ahhing, but when we got off the train and were heading to the car we noticed we were one plushie short - mine! My dad did a mad dash all the way back to the train track and went through the entire train, but ultimately came back triumphant with my plushie. So it ended up being a happy day after all.

  5. Another gorgeous stamp
My funniest Christmas memory is one when my dear Nan was still alive, she had wrapped up the presents by herself and had obviously got a couple of the tags mixed up, when my brother-in-law opened his he got a leopard print thong (obviously meant for my sister) but so he didn't offend he held it up against himself to see if it would suit. The whole family were in hysterics!

  6. This is a lovely stamp I would love to win it :)
My funniest moment was last christmas when after spending ages putting my christmas tree up and decorating it my new kitten took it upon herself to take each decoration in turn off the tree jumping down with the snow flake or what ever took her fancy in her mouth and pile them all back up on the floor. She obviously was not in the mood for christmas

  8. Well done to all the winners so far!!

My funniest christmas memory was a couple of years ago one of my fiance's daughters had labelled all her presents wrong, and not one of us opened the correct present from her, it was a genuine mistake, but it made us all laugh. I ended up with OH's present a laser level thingy, suppose it could have come in handy somewhere in my cardmaking.
Thanks for the chance of another lovely prize. Joanne x

  10. The first Christmas my Mom and Dad and I had without my sister started out sad but ended with us all laughing. Dad bought Mom a food processor so we decided to have scalloped potatoes with our Turkey. We played with the machine and then got busy. When it came to cooking the potatoes they had turned totally black. First we laughed at thinking scalloped potatoes at Christmas and then when we cooked them they were black.

  11. such a beautiful card!

My funniest moment was when my cat was a little baby kitty. We always had real candles on the tree and also a bucket of water nearby, just in case. My baby cat thought it's worth a try to have a drink and *splash* took a bath instead^^ she was so cute wet and jittering, hehe.

  12. The funniest Christmas moment for me was when I was about 10 yrs. I wanted a pair of penny loafers SO bad. I was at my grandmothers and went snooping in the gifts and seen that she had bought me a pair of the loafers. I was SO excited. Come Christmas I opened up the box and she had put her OLD pair in the box............she knew I had been snooping. lol

Has to be when I put up my own Christmastree for the 1st time after moving out of my parents home. Me, standing on a fold-up chair, wanted to put the lights around the tree. But instead f putting lights around the tree, I put myself IN the tree!
I still have the scar to proove it!

  14. Gorgeous card!!

I always found it funny that every year on Christmas Eve when my mom, sisters and I would settle in to watch Little Women my dad and brothers would complain and throw a fuss about it being a "chick flick" but they always somehow ended up cuddled up with us and watching the end of the movie!!

  15. Even though we grew up in apartment we always had large tree sitting in the corner. It is a tradition in Czech Republic to decorate with some traditional ornaments and some chocolate ones.

The day before Christmas came and that morning we could not find my sister anywhere (she was little over 2 yo then). Not under the bed, her usual hideout, not in the closet.... then my parent finally found her, fast asleep behind the christmas tree, her face all sweet brown , she slept surrounded with all the wrapper of candies she coud reach.

  16. A wonderful stamp and card again!
My funniest Christmas moment was (now, afterwards) when my brother and I ate lots of chocolate baubles from our tree. We left all of the papers behind the television, so our parents then wouldn't find them (not really smart.. We'd better left them in the dustbin) My mom didn't notice the very sad looking tree, but she did find the empty papers, ofcourse..
My brother and I were so shocked to find out she had hang all the empty papers back in the tree without even mentioning!

  17. My funniest moment at Christmas was when we moved into our new home on Christmas Eve. The house wasn't quite ready, but I had threatened everyone that I WOULD be in by Christmas. With all the confusion on Christmas morning, some of the kids presents were misplaced with packing materials and we did not find them until a week later!

  18. Ohhhhhh my...... If I have to tell a funny Christmas moment, then I guess it would have to be this one.

1998 I believe... a friend of mine from Sweden, I had met on the internet had sent me some "Swedish" christmas cd's. My sister laughing hysterically at how strange it sounded to hear "Rudolf the red nose reindeer" sung in Swedish, placed a bet thinking for sure I would not go through with it. The bet was that I had to stand up before Christmas dinner and SING that song in SWEDISH. I do not speak Swedish, I was born and raised in NY State...but to prove that I was not going to let her win I DID IT, I had to have the words written in front of me, and I wrote notes beside the words about HOW the word should sound. Very funny, but the worst is that it's recorded on video ... and the rest they say... Is history!

  19. What a neat set would love to own it. My funniest Christmas was 3 years ago. We always have an artificial tree due to the up keep of a real one. Well this Christmas my sons football coach which we are good friends with asked us for 3 years if he could give a real tree. He wanted us to experience a real tree so I finally broke down and said ok. We went to pick it out chopped it down brought it home and decorated it. Christmas eve we were putting more presents under the tree and well my daughter was putting a few and the whole tree fell on her. She was yelling ouch those thorns hurt get it off me. We laugh when we think about it and my sons coach says at least we will never forget him as he has become a traditional family story. Thanks for allowin me to share.

  20. One year on Christmas Eve I called my brother and the man who answered the phone said it was some plumbing place. Thinking my brother was playing a joke on me I insisted he come out right away and repair our toilet. After several minutes the man became exasperated with me and I finally realized that it wasn't my brother after all. Very embarrassing but funny.

  21. How generous you are to give away your wonderful stamps - I hope i win before the season ends! My funnest moment was just a year ago when my 20 yr old neice opened one of her gifts from my mother a crocheted dish scrubber, looked at it quizically and then siad oh then will work so nice and rubbed her cheek with it. We older folk chuckled and then later let her know it was for the pots and pans not her face.

  24. Being the youngest of 9 children, I have many, many funny stories but one of the funniest I will share with you....someone bought my Mom a gift called something like a Chia flower (not a chia pet). Anyway, it is an interactive flower. You water it and talk to it and it opens up and makes sounds and is really cute (different but what do you buy a woman who has everything??) Anyway, my Mom, 2 of my sisters and myself were sitting there and I was trying to get this flower to interact with me to no avail (I think I overwatered it and killed it to be honest). So, we let it sit for awhile and my sister started in on it and started to talk to it and then she broke out in a rendition of the song "Up On the Housetop" She was going through the motions and really getting into singing this song to this flower..on her knees..because it was on the table..we were all laughing so hard we were crying...you have to realize she was close to 50 years old at the time. We recorded it and wanted to send to America's funniest videos but never did. We still laugh about it and cry laughing to this day.

  25. My funniest Christmas moment...we were spending Christmas with friends. We were all watching the kids open their gifts on Chrismtas morning when I saw the tree starting to fall...but you know how it is when something like that is happening..you can't get the words out. Later when we watched the video, we laughed when we saw me just sitting there saying "tree, tree, tree". Ha!!!

  26. Every year when hubby and I go out to get a tree I remember the first time we got one for our first christmas together (and it makes me giggle) He tied it on to the top of the trunk and we drove off the hard ware store where we got it. Just couple of streets away the tree somehow fell off and we were driving down the road dragging the tree behind us. We were lucky the rope didn't brake and we were able to use the tree after we drug it home.

  27. I love the blue tones to this card. This is adorable.
My funniest moment (NOW I CAN SAY THIS) was the TERRIBLE flower pot I got for a gift. It had monkey's all over it. I've yet to use it for flowers. I think back about trying to remain calm and collective when I unwrapped it! oh my!

  28. My parents have outside cats and the numbers will range from 5-10 hanging around. A few years ago, I wrapped a huge box and had several 20 pound bags of cat food it it. Since they had no idea what it was going to be...it just struck my Mom as really funny, and an actual surprise.

  29. My funniest Christmas moment has to have been Christmas 1999. It was the first Christmas after my husband & I got married. I saved his gift to me as the last hoping he'd given me something fabulous. As I unwrapped the gift, I could tell it was a book. When I saw the title, I nearly cried; it was a very dry and intellectual book about science - exactly what I would NOT read and what my husband WOULD (he's a scientist).

I tried so hard to mask my disappointment, but evidently everyone was in on the joke. I turned to "thank" him, and he was nearly cracking up as he held a huge box. "Actually, honey, that book is for me; this is your real present." I unwrapped it to find a sewing machine (the only one I've ever owned)! I don't know if I was more delighted in the gift, or that my husband knew better than to buy me such a boring book!

  30. My family each brings a $5 gift and then we play what we call "White Santa" where we draw numbers and then choose a gift. My youngest sister was creative one year and printed a picture of her dog, Mimi(who is a very annoying dog) and ironed it onto a tshirt. I was the unlucky family member to get this gift. So I held onto it and guarded it until the next year when I brought it back. My youngest sister ended up with the shirt.

It was very funny and the shirt seems to come back each year. We all try to be at my Mom's before everyone arrives so we can see the package the last person received it comes in with.

  31. My funniest Christmas:
My Hubby (boyfriend at the time) and I ended up spending our first Christmas together because we couldn't fly home to our families. I took the time to wrap his presents and picked a card and had it all waiting for him. He knocked on my door, and came in with a bundled up pair of shorts. I asked him what he was going to do with the shorts. He says, "Oh, I don't know how to wrap presents. This is the best I could do."

  32. When my hubby and I were dating several years ago I dragged him to the mall so that we could take a photo with Santa. When we got the photo I looked great but my hubby was sitting all weird, all stiff and leaning forward. The photo looked like Santa had his hand up my hubby's bum...haha. Everytime I see that photo I have to tease and laugh at my hubby...lol.

  33. Wow ... my funniest/embarrasing moment comes from photos and videos.

I was much younger then.... my parents had me in after school care and they were putting on the annual Christmas Play for the parents. My most embarassing moment at Christmas so far has been relived through video horror! Smack dab in the middle of the play (during my part) I told everyone to hang on .... I walked on up to the bathroom and pottied! YUP right there! The bathrooms were behind the stage so you could say that all eyes were on me ... especially since I didn't bother to shut the doors! I suppose it was cute at the time, but man it still turns my cheeks red! But they did give me a standing ovation! {Go figure} .... thanks mom for recording ths memory .. forever!

  37. This is such a sweet stamp! I am not sure I can recall a funny Christmas memory but the closest I can remember was announcing to my family that I was pregnant with the first grandchild. I said we are going to be needing more room at the table next year because there was going to be one more. Well, I swear it took them forever to understand what I was telling them. I was trying to be cute and funny but all I did was confuse everyone LOL.

  45. that's a cool blue card indeed, I love the way people get inspired! I can never seem to think beyond a very simple punched out card - put practice will get my there I hope!

Funny Christmas Memory? Oh...I have many, but it has to be the one that goes with a particular set of photographs - I should post them one day. It's Mum and my Nana (now departed) tied up together and wearing christmas cracker hats and the photos show them trying to untangle (some party trick)themselves and the series of photos shows them more and more paralysed by laughter - it is a fabulous set of photos!! And it makes me smile now even though I am not looking at them!

  47. I've had a fun time reading the others' stories :)

My funniest christmas moment must have been when my husband and I were celebrating christmas in South-Korea for the first time. We had said yes to come over to our French/American neighbours to have a nice meal and were really looking forward to it since we heard the wife was a fabulous chef. Our surprise was big when we realized that they had invited over 30 people and we didn't know any of them. The meal was served as a buffet, so with could eat whatever we wanted and just sit down where we found a chair and a table. The food was a mix of different things since they wanted everyone to find something they liked. But hardly anything was typical christmas food. And we ended up eating the meal with chopsticks. When we sat there my husband and I were looking at each other and laughing, because this was really not what we had expected for a Christmas Eve!

Thanks for giving us the chance to win the gorgeous WOJ-stamps.

    Hugs, Kristin :)

My younger sister and her best friend were at our house and they knocked over our Christmas tree. My mom got frustrated and sent them to the friend's house to play while she put the tree back together. Well, the girls apparently thought it was so much fun that they knocked over the friend's tree too! They both got into trouble and never did it again... 56. My funniest Christmas moment (at least last year) was my little (6y.) cousin's comment:
Situation: he got a new bike for Christmas, so my uncle had to carry up the bike to the 2nd floor without the kids noticing it (presents are brought on the evening of the 24th by the "Christkind" - naturally "everyone" is on the lookout to catch it...) and trying to find a nice place in a slightly cramped living room (tree, tons of presents, lots of family...)- so all in all not the easiest job...
my cousin comes into the room, sees the bike, runs up to his dad "Daddy, daddy look what the Christkind brought me, it is so cool..." ("Daddy's" face was great...)
    Kind regards

My funniest moment for Christmas must have been when both myself and my brother were younger and my nan used to buy everyone really unusual presents so as we used to dread opening up our gifts off her. I remember this one year my brother opened up his present to find a very long thin fork which we couldn't for the life of us think what it was for. When my nan rang to thank us for her presents she asked my brother what he thought of his back scratcher! Well we couldn't stop laughing.

  59. Mein lustigstes Weihnachtsfest liegt schon einige Jahre zurück...

  64. Beautiful card. The funniest moment was our first Christmas was the moment our cat Skipper decided to open her gift from Santa. Normally she shows no interest but this time she actually got hers from under the tree and then started playing with it desperate to get at the catnip inside. You had to be there to appreciate it but promise it was funny!

  65. Funniest Christmasmemory would be the Christmas we had two elderly sisters celebrating with us, and my two brothers (aged 7 and 12 at the time) gave them each a glass of cod-liver-oil-capsules to take with them on their many travles :D It gave us all a good laugh! :D :D

  66. I think that my funniest moment was some years ago when my dad gave as gift a ring to my mom. me and my grandma took a big box and put into it a lot of little boxes, everyone with a little stupid gift inside, but one had the ring. My mom had to open all the boxes before she found the ring... and at every little boxes she cried more and more ahah... was so funny for all of us! (and for her, of course, when she found the gold!) ^_^

    have a nice day! ^_^

  67. When we were kids, my whole family used to gather and spend Xmas Eve at my Grandparents house. My Great Uncle Sid used to dress up as Father Christmas and "sneak" in to eat the cookies and milk and leave the pressies under the tree (while all of us cousins peaked through the cracks in the doors in awe!!). He hadn't ever missed a year even since since Mum was little.
One year (I was about 5), he was in hospital, so my Grandpa decided to take over the role.... imagine our confusion when the second Father Christmas turned up minutes after the first!!! (Sid discharged himself from hospital saying he "couldn't disappoint the children".
But try explaining TWO Santas standing in the kitchen laughing at each other!

  73. Wow lovely stamps again, think my funniest moment was when I was little and we were out at my Gran and Grandads house celebrating the season. My Uncles friend came in and was quite drunk. He had his kilt on, I was sitting on the floor and he spilt his drink on the kilt and then decided to ring it out, well I saw right up it and he was definately a true Scotsman. (No pants on!)I was only about 9 and didn't know where to look. Didn't tell Mum and Dad till we were going home and they were laughing so much, they phoned Gran to tell her once we were home. Thinking back it was really funny but at the time I was quite embarrased by the eyeful I had got. Hazel xox

We decided that he would give me the present first, and then I would give my one to him. But when I unwrap the paper I began laughing - because we got totally the same gifts! We decided to give each other a tennis rocket!

  85. Oh my gosh! I have to say that there are two all time funniet...but I will only post the one! It has to be when my son wrapped his own gift thinking it was his dads gift, a fishing pole, well he asked if he could play a trick on dad and cover the thing with clear packing tape, I said I guess so if that was what he really wanted to do. Almost two rather large rolls of tape later, he said he was going to give it to him with a few rules, no knives, scissors or tools to help open the gift. Ok, just remember the same is going to apply to you some day! Little did he know it was his own gift. It took him almost 1 1/2 hours to break into that thing! The look on his face when we gave it back to him and said oh this is your gift was priceless!

  92. MY funniest Christmas Moment was about 10 years back when my husband bought me my first cell phone (a bag phone). He went out early in the morning and put the phone in the car. Gave me a card telling me to go to the garage to look for my present. Here I am walking around the garage looking, I can hear the phone ringing...thinking that the phone in the house is turned up really loud and yelling at them to answer the phone as I am standing beside my car when I realize the ringing is inside the car.

I forgot to tell of our funniest Christmas moment! One year, both my kids had chicken pox during Christmas. Poor kiddos, though I can say focusing on the gifts and holidays at least brightened things and cheered them some!

  102. What a great question. My funniest memory is when my little sister really really really wanted a stuffed Oscar the Grouch and it was the only thing she asked for. Watching her face get sadder and sadder as she opened her packages and then when all the packages were gone she was fighting back the tears. Then when that last package was found WAY at the back and it was her Oscar. She burst into tears, laughed and jumped up and down like a little monkey. I still chuckle thinking about it. And she still has that Oscar - 33 years later!

Gosh, you would think I'd be able to come up with a funny Christmas moment but I can't think of a one! My funnest Christmas memory is when my younger daughter was about 7 years old. She really wanted a Fifi La Fume (a girl skunk from Disney) stuffed animal. Well, they didn't make them. I found a wonderful lady who made really fantastic fantasy type dragons and such stuffed animals and I asked her if she could possibly make a Fifi for us. My funniest Christmas moment was at the work christmas party a few years ago. At the party we always play the gift exchange where when your name is called you either pick a gift from under the tree or "steal" a gift from someone else and make them pick again. Most of the gifts are dollar store items, but there are always a few $20 gift cards too. Everyone tries to guess what is in each wrapped package, since you aren't allowed to open them until everyone has a gift. There is always one package that everyone decides MUST have the gift card in it, and it is so much fun to watch everyone fight over it (good-naturedly, of course). Usually that package ends up being the one with the lamest gift in it!

My funniest Christmas moment involves my son.... We had a hard time keeping him away from the tree when he was about 2. He liked knocking the ornaments down. Then he started noticing the presents. After repeatedly telling him no, he finally gave up on the tree and presents. Or so I thought. I left the room for some reason and when I came back he had several presents ripped open. Whats funny is they were all his and each present was at a different spot under the tree, some buried under other presents. Never did figure out how he knew those were his. It's not like he could read his name, or could he?? (JK) It was hilarious.

  132. What a beautiful card...I would love to win this stamp.

Every year we purchase presents for our dogs at Chrismas. This year we came across a boxed set of about 5-6 dog toys and three bags of goodies for under $20 so of course I couldn't pass up the deal. I have a walk in closet that I also use as a dressing area and I had the box of goodies on the floor in the closet. Both of our dogs went crazy for 2 days sniffing this box until last night hubby put it up on a shelf. Today the dogs are going crazy in my closet...walking in and out of all the clothes...sticking their noses in bags...whining-and they won't come out of my closet. They are looking for their presents and snooping as if they were a couple of kids. Actually I guess it was kind of cruel of me (unintentionally of course) to put the box down on the floor. I have to admit though that they are cracking me up today. I am hoping they will put on this same show when hubby comes home tonight!

  133. My funniest moment at Christmas was very many years ago - when my adult sons were just young boys, and we had family visiting for Christmas Day - and chaos reigned - you know how it is with the excitement of the day.

In the kitchen all the preparations were running smoothly and I was feeling quite proud of myself.

I went in to carve the turkey - and one of the little ones had left the kitchen door open.

There stood my dog - wagging his tail - with the turkey on the floor (it was a clean floor).

It was over 30 years ago! I can still see his face!

I shooed him out the door and closed it. Then picked up the turkey - ran it under a hot tap, and carved it up! No one knew. No one had an stomach upset - but there was only one turkey leg.

Of course I wouldn't dream of doing anything like that these days - but back then, money was short and you saved up most of the year for a turkey!

  137. My funniest memory happened many years ago when my little cousin got a special battery-game. It was a plastic dog guarding his bowl. In the bowl were different plastic bones and treats and you were supposed to carefully take the treats out - without angering the dog. If you weren't careful he started barking at you. We filled the bowl with real dogtreats and let our dachshund try to take them. It was so funny when the plastic dog started barking at her and she didn't know what to do. :D

Thank you for this question. I had forgotten about this memory.

  138. The funniest Christmas moment was when my mom and dad brought a real tree for Christmas, we decorated it and made it so lovely, but within a week all the needles had fallen off it and so did all the decorations with it. Ever since then we stuck to the fake ones lol.

Thanks again for such a great chance xx

  139. My funniest Christmas moment was when the dog was walking about in a visibly guilty manner and we all tried to guess what it had done this time - it took us quite a while to find out it had eaten ALL the edible Christmas tree decorations - we were left with the non-edible stuff on the tree (which had probably been a bit over-decorated anyway which is why we didn't notice it for so long...)

  141. The funniest moment at Christmas was just when my daughter was 4 1/2 years old. We had talked about naughty kids getting coal in their stockings at Christmas. She said "I would like to get some coal in my stocking because then we could barbeque!" Needless to say, I was sure to include coal in her stocking - unfortunately, it backfired on me! When she opened the little red pouch with 3 pieces of coal she was totally devastated because she thought it meant she had been naughty! (and I was thinking we were going to BBQ!)

  142. My funniest Christmas memory was last year. I was due on the 23rd and I was having contractions into the evening on Christmas Day. Nothing was really happening and my younger brother was siting across from me. He said, "You know what that baby is doing?" I, in the middle of a contraction, shook my head no.

He suddenly put his arms and legs in the air, wiggled like a tree, and shouted, "NO WAY I'M COMING OUT TO THAT CRAZY FAMILY." I started laughing so hard.

FTR my ds didn't come until Jan 1.

  143. My funniest moment is the year I was 19, my mom got me this large leather purse with fringe. When I first opened it and held it up, it the bag part looked like a skirt and the handles looked like the straps for a halter top... I said I'm not wearing this! She said it's a purse, you dummy! :)

  144. What a lovely card! I love all the blues! Hmmmm, funniest moment at Christmas???? I can't think of too much, except that just the other day my DH told our 5 y/o DS that since he was having some bad days in school perhaps we'd cancel Christmas. (Yes, my DH was expecting to get a rise out of my son.) Troy responded with, "We can't, that's Jesus' birthday." (Said very solemnly.) *gulp* No, we wouldn't do that! My son got the better of his Daddy with that one! :D
