Whiff of Joy Stamps - Guest Designer Call

I am very excited to open another Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call!! It's been a long time since the last GDT Call, that's why it is such an exciting event for me :)

We are looking for passionate, talented crafters with great colouration skills to complement our Design Team for the next 2,5 months (end september, october, november).

As a guest designer for Whiff of Joy Stamps you'll have to:

• Create a card or project or scrapbook page with every stamp we'll send you
• post these on your blog and upload it to the Whiff of Joy gallery
• participate in every other Design Team activity, such as the Project of the month
• have your own blog, which is essential to show and promote your works created with our stamps
  

The chosen guest designer will have the following privileges:

• You'll get every stamp that is going to be release during the next 2 months
• You will get a 10% discount on all your orders from Whiff of Joy Stamps for the period of 1 year.

Important information:

• Everybody can enter from anywhere in the world!!
• You can submit as many cards as you like, but they have to be new ones.
• You have to use at least 1 Whiff of Joy Stamp on you card!!!
• The Guest Designer Call ends on Saturday, September 19th, 8 pm GMT+1

Willkommen zum aktuellen Whiff of Joy Gast Designer Call. Ich bin so aufgeregt, da es einige Zeit her ist, dass wir den letzten Gast Designer Call hatten :)

Wir suchen talentierte Gast Designer, die es verstehen unsere Motive durch eine aussergewöhnliche Coloration hervorzuheben.

Als Gast Designer für Whiff of Joy Stamps habt ihr die folgenden Pflichten:

• Eine Karte, Scrapbook layout oder Bastelprojekt zu basteln mit jedem Stempel, den ihr von Whiff of Joy Stamps bekommt.
• Diese Werke sollen auf eurem blog veröffentlicht und auch in die Whiff of Joy Inspirationsgallery geladen werden
• Eine Teilnahme an jeder anderen Design Team Aktivität ist verpflichtend, wie z.B. das Projekt des Monats
• Ihr müßt euren eingenen Blog besitzen, da dies essentiell ist um die Werke, die mit unseren Stempeln gebastelt werden sowohl zu zeigen als auch zu bewerben.

Der Gast Designer wir die folgenden Privilegien haben:

• Ihr bekommt jeden Stempel, der während der nächsten 2 Monate neu herausgebracht wird.
• Ihr bekommt einen Rabatt von 10% auf alle Bestellungen bei Whiff of Joy Stamps für den Zeitraum von 1 Jahr

• Jeder, egal aus welchem Land der Welt kann teilnehmen.

Blog Candy Winner and "moving house the Swiss way"

Ohhhh, it feels so good to be finally able to post on my blog again. We managed to get almost all of our stuff out of our old house over the weekend (what a procedure!!!!) and are now living in our new home surrounded by awfully lot of boxes and bags *ahhhhh* Were did all the stuff come from?!?! ;)
Nevertheless, I wanted to finally announce the winner of my latest blog candy (I am so sorry to be late, I already had such a bad conscience!!)

Juhuu!! Es fühlt sich so gut an, dass ich endlich wieder in der Lage bin etwas auf meinem Blog zu veröffentlichen. Wir waren das ganze Wochenende damit geschäftigt das meiste unserer Sachen aus dem alten Haus herauszuschaffen. Seit 2 Tagen schlafen und leben wir schon in unserem neuen Heim, umgeben von unbeschreiblich vielen Umzugskisten... *ahhh* woher haben wir nur soviel Zeug?!?! ;)
Trotz dem Chaos, das hier bei mir momentan herrscht wollte ich euch endlich die Gewinnerin meines letzten Blog Candys mitteilen (ich hatte schon ein ganz schlechtes Gewissen, weil ich so spät dran bin). I also wanted to share some fun pictures of our move with you. They run under the motto "Moving business the Swiss Way"...hahaha

My dear Father in Law spared no efforts to get a license for his old tractor to help us. The above picture shows him trucking some of the racks of the Whiff of Joy inventory to our new home. This was absolutely fabulous, because this way we didn't have to demount them in advance.

Ich möchte unbedingt ein paar lustige Bilder unseres Umzugs mit euch teilen. Sie laufen unter dem Motto "Umzug auf Schweizerisch"...haha

Mein lieber Schwiegervater scheute keine Mühen um uns behilflich zu sein. Er tat alles um eine Lizens für seinen alten Traktor zu bekommen. Das obige Foto zeigt wie er damit einen Teil der Gestelle des Whiff of Joy Lagers transportierte. Das war wahnsinnig zeitsparend, da wir somit die Gestelle nicht schon im Vorfeld zerlegen mußten :)

But he didn't only transport business related stuff, my FiL also helped to get large furniture and electric devices to our new home! I am blessed with a wonderful and carying family :)

Aber nicht nur Sachen für die Firma wurden von meinem Schwiegervater transportiert. Auch sperrige Möbel und Geräte transportierte er sicher in unser neues Heim. Ich bin wirklich mit einer hilfsbereiten und warmherzigen Familie gesegnet :)

It is here!! Whiff of Joy / Elisabeth Bell Fall Stamp Kit

A lot of you already received their Fall Stamp Kits or saw a card made with one of the stamps included.. I am sorry that I can't show you one myself. I simply don't have the time to craft, because of our move and preparations for the Stamp Mekka (a huge stamp related fair in Germany which we will attend in September). Can you imagine how hard it is for me to NOT use one of the fab new stamps?! LOL
The following picture shows the Whiff of Joy / Elisabeth Bell Fall Stamp Kit. All stamps plus 4 extra stamps will be available as individual stamps on monday, August 24th.

Viele von euch haben schon ihre Herbst Stempel Kits erhalten oder eine Karte mit einem der enthaltenen Stempel gesehen. Es tut mir so leid, dass ich euch selbst keine Karte zeigen kann. Aber mit dem Umzug und den Vorbereitungen für das Stempel Mekka bin ich völlig ausgelastet und habe keine Zeit zum Basteln. Könnt ihr euch vorstellen wie ich leide?! LOL
Trotzdem wollte ich euch gerne ein vollständiges Bild des Whiff of Joy / Elisabeth Bell Herbst Stempel Kits zeigen. Alle darauf enthaltenen Stempel plus 4 Extra Stempel werden ab Montag 24. August als Einzelstempel erhältlich sein.

I am back - with pictures

Did I mention that we flew to Vienna over the weekend to visit my grandparents and celebrate their 60 year anniversary? We came back home late yesterday night and I was more than happy to sleep in my own bed again :) It was wonderful to see my family again, but it was absolutely exhausting to travel so far with two small children and in the middle of moving house. But it was worth the exertions ... haha

Habe ich eigentlich erwähnt, dass wir über das Wochenende nach Wien geflogen sind um den 60. Hochzeitstag meiner Großeltern zu feiern? Wir sind gestern spät in der Nacht zurückgekommen und waren völlig erschlagen. Es war wunderbar meine Familie wiederzusehen, jedoch war so eine weite Reise mit zwei kleinen Kindern mitten im Umzugsstress wahnsinnig anstrengend. Aber die Reise war die Strapazen wert...haha

I would like to share some photos of our weekend trip. It was the first flight for our boys, so they were very excited.

Although I grew up in Vienna, I was very impressed by the fantastic castle Schönbrunn. You tend to forget such things after living uproad for a while :)

Obwohl ich in Wien aufgewachsen bin, war ich von den großartigen Bauwerken wieder sehr beeindruckt. Nachdem man eine Zeit im Ausland gelebt hat, neigt man dazu solche Dinge zu vergessen :)

The below picture shows the staircase to our breakfast hall in the hotel. We felt like the royal family eating in there ... haha

Some of you might know that my family and I are in the middle of moving house (what a chaos!!!), but nevertheless my fabulous team at Whiff of Joy managed to get all orders for the Whiff of Joy / Elisabeth Bell Fall Stamp Kit ready before the official ship date *wohooo* So it is time to stalk your postmen again, because your little secret package is already on it's way :)

Get well Niklas - a RAK surprise

My dear friend Jacqui sent my son Niklas this lovely "get well" card after she read on my blog that he suffered from a bad fever. Luckily he recovered quickly, but not so luckily also infected my younger son Noel with the virus *doh* But I guess it is always the same with small kids...LOL They are both well again and Niklas was very excited about his card. Thanks so much Jacqui, this was so thoughtful of you!! *sending you lots of hugs*!

Meine liebe Freundin Jacqui hat meinem Sohn Niklas diese tolle "Baldige Besserungs-" Karte geschickt, nachdem sie erfahren hatte, dass er ein böses Fieber hatte. Zum Glück war es schnell überstanden, jedoch hat er leider auch noch unseren jüngeren Sohn Noel mit dem Sommervirus angesteckt. Naja, so ist das eben bei kleinen Kindern ;) Jetzt sind beide wieder wohl auf und NIklas ist ganz stolz auf seine tolle Karte. Vielen Dank Jacqui!!

A birthday Monkey

I hope you had a great weekend. I paired some Bo Bunny paper with Lou the celebrating Monkey a few days ago and was quite happy with the result :)

Celebrate one cupcake at a time

Happy saturday!! I managed to do some serious crafting yesterday!!! And *wow*, it felt so good...hahaha I know that you will forgive me for being so quiet as soon as you see all the wonderful christmas stamps Whiff of Joy will release in the next couple of weeks :) The ones of you who participated in our Anniversary blog hop already saw a preview of what's to come. But let me tell you *shhh- whispers softly* there is more ;)

Einen wunderbaren Samstag wünsche ich euch! Ich bin gestern doch tatsächlich dazu gekommen mal wieder richtig ausgiebig zu Basteln!! Und *wow*, das war einfach nur toll!!!! Ich weiss, dass ihr mir verzeihen werdet, dass ich in letzter Zeit fast wie vom Erdboden verschwunden war, sobald ihr all die Weihnachtstempel seht, die Whiff of Joy in den nächsten Wochen herausbringen wird :) Diejenigen von euch, die an unserem Geburtstags- Blog Hop teilgenommen haben, konnten schon eine Vorschau sehen, aber laßt mich euch zuflüstern *shhh* es gibt noch mehr ;)


Bruno bear with his cupcake is one of my favourite stamps from the new Party Animals Alison designed for Whiff of Joy. I guess it is the faithful look on his face...haha
I coloured him with Twinkling H2Os only, following a video tutorial Crissy provided on her blog the other day. Boy, this girl knows how to bring images to life!!! I still need to practise a lot!
The sentiment is from Stampin' Up. I sprayed a lot of Glimmer Mist (Old Lace) over the flowers, so they are sparkling nicely.

Bruno Bär mit Muffin ist einer meiner liebsten Stempel, der neuen Party Tiere Kollektion, die Alison für Whiff of Joy gezeichnet hat. Ich glaube das liegt an dem treuherzigen Blick, den er hat :) Ich habe ihn ausschließlich mit Twinkling H2Os coloriert, und bin dabei einem video tutorial gefolgt, dass Crissy auf ihrem Blog veröffentlicht hat. Wow, also sie kann sowas von toll colorieren, da muss ich noch viel üben :)
Der Text ist von Stampin' Up. Die Blumen habe ich mit Glimmer Mist (Old Lace) besprüht, damit sie schön glitzern.

Small Wedding gift in teal and red

Caz at Cute Card Thursday challenges us to use a colour combo on our creations this week. And it is no easy one ;) "Tealy Good" - teal and red- Lucky me, that my all time favourite wedding paper from Cosmo Cricket (Ever After) meets those requirements ...haha

Caz von Cute Card Thursday gibt uns diese Woche eine Farbkombination als Herausforderung. Blaugrün (türkis) und Rot, gar nicht so einfach... Was für ein Glück für mich, dass mein Lieblings - Hochzeitspapier von Cosmo Cricket (Ever After) genau diese Farben vereint...haha

I bought this package of cookies at my local supermarket the other day. A friend of mine asked me to do a little gift for a wedding she attends in late August. I thought this was perfect. So I used Whiff of Joy's wedding cake designed by the wonderful Elisabeth Bell and Cosmo Crickets Ever After paper to pimp it up :) I am sorry for the bad picture, it got really late when I took it.

Ich habe die Packung mit Florentinern im Supermarkt gekauft. Eine Freundin hat mich gebeten eine Kleinigkeit für einen Apero nach der Trauung von Freunden zu gestalten und da kam es mir gerade richtig :) Ich habe Whiff of Joy's Hochzeitstorte illustriert von Elisabeth Bell and Cosmo Crickets Ever After Papier verwendet um die Packung etwas aufzupeppen ;) Entschuldigt bitte das schlechte Foto. WoJ / E. Bell Fall Stamp Kit preview II

Happy sunday! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. The 1st of August was a national holiday here in Switzerland and we were celebrating until late at night with barbecue and fireworks. After going to bed my older son Niklas got some nasty fever and he still feels very ill today. It's the second time he has such a bad fever for the past 2 weeks and I start getting worried that there is more behind it :(

Einen schönen Sonntag wünsche ich euch! Ich hoffe ihr habt ein sonniges Wochenende :) Der 1. August Staatsfeiertag hier in der Schweiz. Wir haben mit Freunden gefeiert, gegrillt und das Feuerwerk bewundert. Leider hat mein Sohn Niklas in der Nacht hohes Fieber bekommen und fühlt sich auch heute noch schlapp. Es ist das 2. Mal innerhalb von 2 Woche, dass er so schlimmes Fieber bekommt und langsam mache ich mir Sorgen, dass mehr dahinterstecken könnte :(
