Hi from Vienna

Hi everybody!!!I am back from my trip to Vienna and brought thepromised Vlog with me :)
I tried to upload the promised Vlog already a the hotel, but the internet connection was so slow there that it didn't work, so I did it at home. I enjoyed 2 great days in the wonderful city Vienna .

I don't know if I will ever do a Vlog again...LOL it was so embarrassing to film myself in public places - people were staring at me...
And it was also embarrassing to see myself on the video, to hear my bad accent and my stammering, but well... I guess I can live with it ;)

Hallo miteinander!!! Ich bin wieder zrück von meinem Kurztrip nach Wien und habe den versprochenen Vlog mit im Gepäck :) Ich habe schon im Hotel versucht den Vlog auf You Tube zu veröffentlichen. Allerdings war die Internet Verbindung so langsam, dass es nicht geklappt hat. Also versuche ich es jetzt von zu Hause aus :)

Ich verbrachte 2 tolle Tage und genoss die Freizeit in Wien.
Ich weiss nicht ob ich das jemals wieder einen Vlog drehe...LOL
Es war so peinlich mich selbst in der Öffentlichkeit zu filmen, und die Leute haben mich pausenlos angestarrt...

Ausserdem war es peinlich mich selbst in dem Video zu sehen, meinen schrecklichen englischen Akzent zu hören und wie ich herumgestottert habe... aber versprochen ist nun mal versprochen, also werde ich damit leben müssen ;)

Viel Spaß beim Anschaun - bitte seid euch bewußt, dass das Video nichts mit dem Basteln zu tun hat. Es ist lediglich ein Film, der zeigt wie ich durch Wien schlendere :)

Actually I am planning on doing a vlog (video blog) about my trip, but I am afraid that I will stammer and mumble like an idiot (because english is not my mother language). What do you think... would you like to see such a video blog? Please let me know.

Ich habe eigentlich vor einen Vlog (also einen Video Blog) über meine Reise zu drehen. Aus praktischen Gründen wird er auf Englisch sein, was mich ziemlich stresst...haha. Was meint ihr dazu, wollt ihr sowas sehen?? Ich weiss, dass einige von euch kein Englisch sprechen und es belastet mich sehr, dass ich euch dadurch ausschließe. Ich hoffe ihr versteht trotzdem worum es geht :) (Ich weiss auch noch gar nicht ob ich den Vlog wirklich veröffentliche, weil es mir wahrscheinlich viel zu peinlich ist, wenn ich in Englisch vor mich in stammle...LOL

Todays card features Cool Oakley, and isn't he really cool?? Somehow he looks like James Dean... perfect for any teenager card :) The paper is from Cosmo Cricket, which I got from my wonderful friend Jane. She read on my blog that it is hard to get this paper here in Switzerland, then went to her local craft store to buy me some...*wow*, I am so touched!! Thanks Jane, you are the sweetest!!!

Thank you for stopping by on my blog today. First of all I want to thank you for the fabulous response to Whiff of Joy's store stamp kit. We got lots of emails asking us about where to purchase the kit "Blooming Spring". It is true, only retailing stores can buy the kit directly from Whiff of Joy. It always takes some time before a new product gets recognized by retailing stores. So if you are interested in the kit (and all that will follow this year :) , please email or call your local crafting stores and ask them if they want to carry it.
I guess mouth to mouth propaganda is the best way to get attention for the new STORE kit.

Es ist richtig, dass das Kit "Blooming Spring" nur von Wiederverkäufern direkt über Whiff of Joy gekauft werden kann. Erfahrungsgemäß dauert es seine Zeit bis ein neues Produkt von Bastelgeschäften wahrgenommen wird. Und hier kommt ihr ins Spiel :)

Guess what!!! I had the time to craft...LOL Actually I coloured sweet Dancing Willow 2 weeks ago, but never got around to do a card with her. I was very pleased with myself and totally happy of being able to "create" again. I put the card on my bedside table and looked at it until I fell asleep....haha

Stellt euch vor!!! Ich hatte mal wieder Zeit zum Basteln...LOL Eigentlich habe ich das Motiv der süßen tanzenden Willow schon vor 2 Wochen coloriert, jedoch nie die Zeit gefunden eine Karte damit zu basteln. Ich war richtig zufrieden mit mir uns sehr glücklich, dass ich endlich dazu gekommen bin. Die Karte stand dann auf meinem Nachttisch, damit ich sie den ganten Abend bewundern konnte bevor ich eingeschlafen bin..haha

I embossed the yellow cardstock with an embossing folder from Stampin' Up, which I got from my dear friend Claudia (Thanks again so much, I love it!!) - perfect for spring :)

"I am Kathrin from Kruemels Bastelblog, 35 years old and married to a wonderful and supportive husband who knows more about crafting than every other man I ever met! I am a SAHM of 3 girls: Vjelisa who will be 15 in february and the twins Pia and Natascha, who will turn 9 in april. At the age of 3 I discovered paper, pens and glue and was hooked up ever since. I discovered scrapbooking shortly after my twins were born - and from there it was only a small step to stamping which I am totally addicted to now. Was für ein toller und aufregender neuer Release. Wir sind schon beinahe ausverkauft, was die neuen City Girl Stempel betrifft...LOL

Whiff of Joy Design Team News

I have to share very sad news with you today. Many of you might already know that Rach from Papercrafts by Rach is taking a blogging break. I completely understand her need for some rest. Blogging is very timeconsuming and hard work. After more than a year of writing post and showing craft projects every day, we all understand her need for taking some time off! But I will soooooo miss her and her beautiful and unique work!!!
Sorry for the whining....LOL Rach, I wish you all the best for the next months, thank you for your immense support and I so hope that you will be back someday. Your DT spot is waiting for you :)

Heute muss ich sehr traurige Nachrichten mit euch teilen. Viele von euch wissen vielleicht schon, dass Rach von Papercrafts by Rach eine Blogging Pause auf unbestimmte Zeit nimmt. Ich verstehe ihre Motivation. Nach über einem Jahr des täglichen Beitrag Schreibens und des Bastelns, braucht man sicher eine Auszeit. Das Bloggen ist eine zeitaufwändige und harte Arbeit. Trotzdem werde ich sie schrecklich vermissen!!
Rach, ich wünsche dir alles gute für die nächste Zeit und hoffe, dass du wieder zu uns zurück finden wirst. Dein DT Posten wird auf dich warten :)

Also Niki from My Paper Creations had to step down from the Whiff of Joy DT for personal reasons. Although Niki hastn't been on the DT for a very long time, her beautiful and unique creations were a beautiful addition to our team's work.

Stellt euch mal vor was er ausgerufen hat als er den Text gelesen hat...."Wirklich?!?!".....haha (Der Text lautet übersetzt "Ich verspreche dich immer zu lieben"). Die Kombination von Charlotte auf dem Teppich und den wunderschönen Papieren von Cosmo Cricket's "Ever After" Kollektion waren ein Muß ;)

Whiff of Joy February Stamp Kit - Birdie Love

Finally!!! The first Whiff of Joy / Elisabeth Bell Stamp Kit of 2010 is ready for pre-order.
There have been some changes to the terms. The major ones are that you will be able to see the kits before you purchase them. The other is that there will be more kits than only 4 in 2010. We upgraded our stamp kits to a bi-monthly kit, because they are such a great deal and have been such a success in 2009 :)
