...well, it is quite simple... I have the most helpful little elves to support me :)
But let me explain from the beginning: As most of you might know, Whiff of Joy is going to London in April to exhibit at the Big Stamp & Scrapbooking show, which takes place on April 10th and 11th. We decided to send out some postcards to our customers who are living in this region, to let them know that we will be there.
So if you received one of the below cards and if you were wondering why the adress label was adhered a bit askew, or why it was crubled - have a look at the following video to discover why :)

Aber von Beginn an: Wie viele von euch wissen, wird Whiff of Joy am 10. und 11. April als Austeller nach London fahren, zur Big Stamp and Scrapbooking Show. Das ist eine riesen Sache für uns :) weswegen wir uns entschieden haben, Postkarten an unsere Kunden, die in dieser Region leben, zu schicken, um sie wissen zu lassen, dass wir dort sein werden.
Einige von jenen, die eine Postkarte erhalten haben, werden sich wohl gewundert haben, warum der Adresskleber recht schief oder zerknautscht war. Das folgende, kurze Video erklärt warum das so ist :)

Cover Story - Congratulations Camilla!

Whiff of Joy's Design Team member Camilla from Norway was chosen to be April Guest Designer for "Ett trykk", a famous Norwegian magazine. She created a wonderful project featuring stamps of our popular City Girl collection and even got to the front page.

Whiff of Joy's Design Team Mitglied Camilla von Norwegen wurde von einem bekannten Norwegischen Stempelmagazin als Gast Designer im April ausgewählt. Sie bastelte dafür ein tolles Projekt, welches einige unserer bekannten City Girl Kollektion zeigt. Damit schaffte sie es sogar auf die Titelseite des Magazins. *wow* Herzlichen Glückwunsch Camilla!! Du bist sensationell.

Sharing in your sorrow

The father of a close friend died of cancer last sunday. The family was full of hope that he would recover, so that his dead was a real shock. I am so feeling with my friend and want to express my sympathy with the card below.

Der Vater einer meiner engsten Freundinnen starb letzten Sonntag an Krebs. Seine Familie war so voller Hoffnung, dass er diese grausame Krankheit besiegen würde, so dass sein plötzlicher Tod wie ein Schock für sie war. Ich fühle mit meiner Freundin und möchte meine Anteilnahme mit der obigen Karte ausdrücken.

Welcome little Funghi

Today's card is a present for a co-worker of my husband. His second child (a boy called Leon) was born on sunday. The last name of this co-worker is "Pilz" (which is the german word for mushroom). His nickname at work is Funghi.
That's why my husband asked me if I could do a card with a mushroom :)

Ein Arbeitskollege meines Mannes wurde am Sonntag zum zweiten Mal Vater. Sein Nachname ist Pilz, aber in der Firma nennen ihn alle nur Funghi. Deswegen wollte mein Mann, dass ich eine Karte mit einem Pilz drauf mache :)

I combined Whiff of Joy's large mushroom and Oakley with slipover, illustrated by Elisabeth Bell for this little szene. I stamped Oakley first, then masked him and stamped the mushroom over him.

Ich habe Whiff of Joy's großen Pilz und Oakley mit Pullunder, illustriert von Elisabeth Bell, für diese Szene miteinander kombiniert. Zuerst habe ich Oakley gestempelt, dann maskiert und den Pilz drübergestempelt.

I coloured Oakley and the mushroom with Twinkling H2O, as well as the background.

Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call - Apply NOW!

All 2 months on the 16th, I will be holding a Guest Designer Call ( in the name of Whiff of Joy). The call will be open for 1 week. I will then choose 1-3 Guest Designer who will be creating cards or papercraftprojects with Whiff of Joy’s newest stamps for the next 2 months until the next Guest Designers are chosen.

Alle 2 Monate, immer am 16., werde ich einen Gast Designer Aufruf machen (im Namen von Whiff of Joy). Dieser Aufruf bleibt für 1 Woche offen. Danach werde ich 1-3 Gast Designer aussuchen, die in den darauf folgenden 2 Monaten Karten und Bastelprojekte mit den neuesten Stempeln von Whiff of Joy machen dürfen.

• post your creation on your blog (and SCS gallery if you have one) letting people know about our Guest Designer Call
• add your name, thumbnail and link to your post to the inlinkz Widget at the end of this post.

My example card shows one of Whiff of Joy's new Spring stamps "In search of Spring". I coloured it with Twinkling H2O (the green of the hill is a combination of Lemongrass, Moss Green and Forest Green). I put crystal effects on the eggs to give them dimension.

Flowers feed the Soul - New Spring and Easter Collection available

*Wohooo* all the new Whiff of Joy Spring & Easter stamps are now available via the WoJ webshop or the craft shop of your choice :) I had so much fun creating the card below. Those images are little darlings! The sentiment is from a new text collection, which was created in a cooperation of Bev Rochester and myself :) (All the sentiments of the collection were included in the Birdie Love Stamp Kit AND the Blooming Spring Store Kit, but they were so beautiful that I also wanted to create a "stand alone" collection with just the sentiments).

*Juhuu* all die neuen Whiff of Joy Frühlings- und Oster Stempel sind ab sofort über den Webshop oder den Bastelshop eures Vertrauens erhältlich :) Ich hatte so viel Spaß meine folgende Karte zu basteln, die Motive sind einfach zu schnuckelig. Der Text ist von einer neuen Text Kollektion, die in Kooperation von Bev Rochester und mir selbst entstanden ist. (All die Texte sind auch im Birdie Love und Blóoming Spring Stamp Kit enthalten, sie waren aber so schön, dass ich einfach auch eine eigene Textkollektion zusammenstellen mußte :)

I started with colouring the cute Girl and her lamb with Twinkling H2Os (we have new colours in stock!!) I covered the lamp with white Fun Flock and the meadow with pale green Flower Soft. All of this gives the image great dimension. All papers are from Basic Grey "porcelain" collection. The fantastic huge flower was a present from dear Claudia. (Thanks so much!)

Ich habe damit begonnen das süße Mädchen mit dem Lamm mit Twinkling H2Os zu colorieren (wir haben neue Farben auf Lager!!) Das Schaf habe ich dann mit weissen Fun Flock und die Wiese mit pale green Flower Soft beklebt. Das gibt dem Motiv eine wunderbare Tiefe. Alle Papiere sind von Basic Grey "Porcelain" Kollektion. Die fantastische große Bllume habe ich von der lieben Claudia geschenkt bekommen (Vielen Dank!!)
Ich hoffe euch gefällt diese zuckersüße neue Stempelkollektion genauso sehr wie mir :)

Meine Karte heißt "Das Feiern von Freundschaften" (die Deutsche Übersetzung klingt irgendwie lahm ;) Alle Stempel, die ich benutzt habe sind im Whiff of Joy SHOP Stempel Kit enthalten. Das Hintergrundpapier ist von Cosmo Cricket (Ich liebe deren Papiere). Vielen Dank Jane, dass du mir welches davon geschickt hast. Die tollen Blumen sind von Rach... *wow*, ich bin wirklich bin sehr guten Freunden aus aller Welt gesegnet *Ich schick euch einen dicken Knuddel* :)

I did the flowerbouquet with Flower Soft. First I added my favourite liquid glue, after colouring the image with Twinkling H2Os.

Das Blumenbouquet habe ich mit Flower Soft gemacht. Nachdem ich das Motiv coloriert hatte, habe ich meinen Lieblings-Flüssigkleber über die BLumen gestrichen (von CreaDirect).

I mixed "pale green" und " summer" from Flower Soft and sprinkled it over the glue.

Ich habe "pale green" und "summer" von Flower Soft miteinander vermischt und über den Kleber gestreut.

After I pressed the mixture onto the glue, I tabbed off the excess.

Nachdem ich die Mischung auf dem Kleber festgedrückt hatte, habe ich den Überschuss angeschüttelt.

I really love the result, it gives a nice effect on the card.

MIr gefällt das Resultat sehr gut, es gibt einen netten Effekt auf einer Karte.

Just a quick card from me today, featuring Whiff of Joy's Shopping Willow illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. The sentiment is handwritten.
Watch out for a wonderful new release at Whiff of Joy. Illustrator Norma Fickel created some fresh and whimsical spring/easter stamps, which you will fall in love with instantly (if I can say so myself...haha).

My trip to Vienna - Vlog 2

Thank you soooo much everybody for the wonderful comment you left me about my first Vlog. It was a joy to read your very personal messages!! After the super positive response, I had the courage to upload the second part of my "Trip to Vienna" Vlogs. I am sorry for the bad sound quality, I have no idea where that was coming from :(
