Thank you for all your lovey comment about "Spider Henry" :) It made my day that you love this little present so much!!

My sister gave birth to a cute little boy 2 weeks ago. I put a few presents together to send to her (she is still living in Vienna - 700 km away). The below photo shows the card I crafted for my little nephew.

Meine Schwester hat vor 2 Wochen einen süßen kleinen Jungen zur Welt gebracht. Ich habe ein paar Geschenke zusammengestellt, die ich ihr schicke (Sie wohnt ja immer noch in Wien - 700 km von uns entfernt). Dies ist die Karte, die ich für meinen Neffen gebastelt habe.

The stamp is Willow with baby, illustrated by Elisabeth Bell for Whiff of Joy. All the design papers are from Cosmo Cricket, as well as the self adhesive chipboard letters.

Der Stempel heißt Willow mit Baby, illustriert von Elisabeth Bell für Whiff of Joy. Alle Motivpapiere sind von Cosmo Cricket, genauso wie die selbstklebenden Chipboard Buchstaben.

I wanted this card to be something really special, so I also decorated the inside. The clouds are made with a Spellbinders Labels die. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's German Baby text collection.

Ich wollte der Karte den finalen, speziellen Touch geben, deswegen habe ich ausserdem die Innenseite dekoriert. Die Wolken sind mit Nestabilities von Spellbinders ausgestanzt. Der Text ist von Whiff of Joy's deutscher Baby Textkollektion.

The downloaded file comes as a zip packed folder. Unpacked, it contains the digital image ( a .jpg file), a readme textfile, and the blog banner (which you can use on your own blog to send people over here to download the digi stamp). Please read the readme text first. It explains how to use the digi stamp.

Being a mother - the greatest gift of all

Happy friday everybody!! I am looking forward to the weekend :) Niklas is feeling better again, which means that we can have friends come over again. So we are planning a barbecue tomorrow. I hope the weather will be cooperating...haha

Einen schönen Freitag wünsche ich euch!! Freut ihr euch auch schon so auf das Wochenende? Niklas hat die Windpocken überstanden, das heißt wir können wieder unter Leute. Deswegen planen wir für Samstag ein Barbecue. Jetzt kann ich nur hoffen, dass das Wetter mitspielt..haha

Elisabeth Bell created one of the most beautiful illustrations for Baby cards for Whiff of Joy. This image is called Willow with toddler and it shows all the passion and love a mother feels when holding her child. All the little details, the dreamy look on Willow's face and the swing of her dress, makes this stamp very precious. I used this stamp for my Twinkling colouring tutorials at the stamp show in Stuttgart in April. I coloured it approx. 10 times, but never got tired of it :)

Elisabeth Bell hat für Whiff of Joy sicher eine der schönsten Stempel für Baby Karten illustriert. Dieser hier heißt Willow mit Kleinkind. Damit hat sie all die Liebe und Hingabe, die eine Mutter fühlt perfekt eingefangen. All die kleinen Details des Motivs, der verträumte Ausdruck auf ihrem Gesicht und der sanfte Schwung des Rocks verleiht diesem Stempel ein einzigartiges Flair.
Dieses Motiv habe ich für meine Colorations Tutorials auf der Stempelmesse in Stuttgart verwendet. Ich mußte es sicher über 10 Mal coloriere, es ist mir aber nie zu langweilig geworden :)

Announcement - Whiff of Joy's new Guest Designers

Thank you everybody for all the wonderful entries to Whiff of Joy's Guest Designer Call.
It has been sooo hard for me to choose amongst all your fabulous creations (that's why it took me so long to announce the Guest Designers for the next term, I simply couldn't make up my mind..haha).
Congratulations to the 4 talented Ladies who will be completing the Whiff of Joy Design Team for the next two months (June and July).

Schattenburg and wildlife park

Pentecost holidays over here today :) plus 25°C *wohooo*. After 4 weeks of rain and super freeze weather, we hungered for an outside activity. So we decided to cross the border to Austria (5 minutes away), to visit the wildlife park in Feldkirch and the castle "Schattenburg". We spent a great day there. Hope you'll enjoy the pics :)

Pfingstmontag und schönes Wetter!!! *juhuu* Nach über 4 Wochen Regen und Kälte sind wir so richtig ausgehungert nach Sonnenschein und einem Ausflug in die Natur. Deswegen haben wir uns entschlossen heute die Grenze nach Österreich zu überqueren (nur 5 Minuten entfernt) und nach Feldkirch zu fahren. Dort gibt es einen schönen Wildtierpark und die beeindruckende "Schattenburg". Ich hoffe die Fotos gefallen euch :)

We are under quarantine over here...LOL Niklas is suffering from varicella. He is not really badly affected, because he is still young, but nevertheless the illness is quite infectious, so we won't be able to meet with other children for over 1 week *boredom here we come* :)

Wir stehen unter Quarantäne...LOL Niklas hat die Windpocken. Er ist nicht wirklich schlimm dran, da er noch so jung ist, trotzdem ist die Krankheit sehr ansteckend. Also können wir uns über 1 Woche nicht mit anderen Kindern treffen -> Langeweile vorprogrammiert :)

I am happy that I decided to do a bright card, which lifted my mood instantly :) I love this Henry the mouse stamp, it is coloured in less than 5 minutes and you can use it for almost every occassion. Alison illustrated some more super cute Henry the mouse stamps for Whiff of Joy, which will be released over the next months.

Ich bin froh, dass ich mich dazu entschlossen habe eine bunte Karte zu basteln. Wenn ich sie jetzt ansehe steigt meine Laune gleich beträchtlich :) Ich liebe diesen Henry Maus Stempel, da er in ca. 5 Minuten zu colorieren ist und man ihn für fast jede Gelegenheit verwenden kann. Alison hat für Whiff of Joy schon weitere super süße Henry Stempel illustriert, die wir in den nächsten Wochen herausbringen werden.

Stamp Kit Showcase - Scheherazade

Welcome to my first Stamp Kit showcase. The Whiff of Joy design team Ladies created the most stunning pieces of art with Whiff of Joy's latest stamp kit "Scheherazade" (illustrated by Elisabeth Bell). I want to invite you to follow me on a creative project hop, which will give you an idea of how versatile and magical this wonderful kit is.
Please keep in mind that April's stamp kit "Scheherazade" will only be available for the special price until the end of may. I hope you'll enjoy the inspiration :)

Willkommen zu meinem ersten Stamp Kit "showcase". Die Ladies des Whiff of Joy Design Teams haben in den letzten Wochen eine Reihe von atemberaubenden Kunstwerken mit unserem aktuellen Stamp Kit "Scheherazade" (illustriert von Elisabeth Bell) gebastelt. Ich möchte euch nun zu einem kreativen Projekte "Hop" einladen, der euch viele Möglichkeiten rund um dieses vielseitige Kit zeigen wird.
Bitte merkt euch vor, dass "Scheherazade" nur mehr bis Ende Mai zu dem Vorteilspreis erhältlich sein wird. Aber nun viel Spass beim Inspirations-Sammeln :)
