Introducing Whiff of Joy's January stamps

What a busy time :) The New Year is right around the corner and with it another fabulous new release at Whiff of Joy (available on January 1st). We have a set of lovely new "Love, Heart, Valentine"-stamps coming, which will be accompanied by matching dies and border dies.

To top this exciting new products, we will also be introducing a lot of new Twinkling H2O colours to our webshop. So there is a lot to look forward to in the New Year here at Whiff of Joy :)

Was für eine geschäftige Zeit :) Das neue Jahr steht schon vor der Tür und mit ihm neue, tolle Produkte von Whiff of Joy (ab 1. Jänner erhältlich). Wir haben ein Set reizender neuer Stempel zum Thema "Liebe, Herzen, Valentinstag" für euch entworfen. Die passenden Stanzteile und ganz viele tolle Randstanzteile wird es auch dazu geben.

Und um noch eines drauf zu geben, haben wir am 1. Jänner eine Reihe brandneuer Twinkling H2O Farben!! Es gibt also einiges worauf man sich im neuen Jahr hier bei Whiff of Joy freuen kann :)

Today I like to show you this cute bird stamp called "Tweetheart". I used it to create a bookmark with a large paper-clip and to create an "every occassion" card.

I did the background with my Copic airbrushing system ( I finally invested in a compressor, so I will do so more airbrushing in the future :)

Heute zeige ich euch dieses süße Vögelchen mit dem Namen "Piepsherz". Ich habe damit einen Bücherclip und eine Karte für alle möglichen Anlässe gebastelt.

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit dem Airbrushing System von Copic gemacht, dazu habe ich einfach einen Papierrest der ausgestanzten Kreise von dem Bücherclip verwendet.

Kindergarden Greetings

I created this card for my son Niklas' kindergarden teacher (it is a quite large card - A5 size). I used non-traditional christmas colours, so she can have it on her working desk the whole year long.

Ich habe diese Karte (in der Größe A5) für Niklas' Kinderkarten-Leiterin gebastelt. Verwendet habe ich etwas untraditionelle Weihnachtsfarben, damit sie die Karte das ganze Jahr über aufstellen kann.

"My name is Sandie Dunne. I live in Ireland and I'm a happily married SAHM. I started scrapbooking 4yrs ago after my daughter was born and from that I was introduced to the wonderful world of stamping.

About 2.5yrs ago I bought my first image stamp and I was hooked. I just adore cute, whimsical images and love try different techniques. I can be a bit florally obsessed when it comes to embellishing my cards but a girl can't ever have too many flowers or pearls in her life ;) I am truly honoured to be a guest designer for Whiff of Joy."

"Mein Name ist Sandie Dunne, ich lebe in Irland und bin eine glücklich verheiratete Hausfrau. Ich habe vor 4 Jahren mit dem Scrapbooking angefangen, kurz nachdem meine Tochter geboren wurde. Dadurch wurde mir die wunderbare Welt des Stempelns offenbart.

Ich hoffe ihr habt ein paar wunderbare Feiertage mit euren Familien verbracht.
Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß mit unseren Kindern und Freunden.

Aus diesem Grund gibt es heute ein spezielles "Folgevideo" :)
Wie ihr euch sicher vorstellen könnt, war es für das Design Team und mich nicht immer leicht einen professionellen Eindruck in dem Video zu vermitteln. Es gab sehr viele gelöschte Szenen, in denen wir uns vor Lachen nicht mehr halten konnten.
Davon habe ich die lustigsten für euch zusammengesucht und in dieses Video hineingepackt.

Another of my yearly Advent Calendars is almost over, how time flies!! It was a great joy for me to follow you through this Christmas season and to play "Santa" for some of you :)

Reindeer in the snow - Season's Greetings

Aren't last years Whiff of Joy stamps by Norma Fickel super adorable? I am still short on Christmas cards, so I used this "Wee with reindeer" stamp to create another one.

Sind die Stempel, die Norma Fickel letztes Jahr für Whiff of Joy illustriert hat, nicht entzückend? Ich brauche immer noch ein paar Weihnachtskarten für liebe Freunde, und so ist diese entstanden.

I coloured the stamped image with Copic Sketch Markers, the background is done with Twinkling H2Os.

Das Motiv habe ich mit Copics und den Hintergrund mit Twinklings ausgemalt.
