Wishing you sunshine - Introducing Nora with raincoat

Another super cute "Nora" stamp illustrated by Alison Acton, will be released through Whiff of Joy tomorrow. I used very strong colours (Twinkling H2O) to colour her in, to make her pop. The sentiment was included in WoJ's summer kit "Life's a beach".

Ein weiterer super süßer "Nora" Stempel, illustriert von Alison Acton, der morgen bei Whiff of Joy erhältlich sein wird. Ich habe Nora mit sehr kräftigen Farben (Twinkling H2O) coloriert, damit sie richtig hervorsticht.

I created the background with Distress Ink from Ranger and stamped with a script background stamp from Stampin' up over it. I applied crystal effects from SU to simulate raindrops.

Den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Inks von Ranger gestaltet und dann mit einem Hintergrundstempel von Stampin' Up darübergestempelt. Als "Regentropfen" habe ich Crystal Effects aufgetragen.

Do you see the small bow attached to "Nora's" raincoat? Whiff of Joy now offers its own line of extra fine button twine made of 100% natural fibre in 3 different colours!! I used "vintage linen" for the bow.

Seht ihr die kleine Masche an "Nora's" Regenmantel? Whiff of Joy führt ab 1. Februar eine eigene Linie von extrafeinem Knopfgarn, hergestellt aus 100% Naturfaser, in 3 verschiedenen Farben!! Hier habe ich "Vintage Leinen" verwendet. Solche Knopfgarne brauche ich selbst fast auf jeder meiner Karten, deswegen war es naheliegend, dass wir sie ins Programm mit aufnehmen :)

Today I want to show you the birthday card, I created for my husband. It features Whiff of Joy's new papercollection (to be released on February 1st)"Frühlingserwachen" (again..LOL, but what can I say, i love it :)

Heute zeige ich euch die Geburtstagskarte, die ich für meinen Mann gebastelt habe. Ich habe wieder Whiff of Joy's neue Papierkollektion verwendet. Ich finde sie einfach super passend für jeden Anlass :) Das Papier gibt es ab 1. Februar.

I coloured Ben with Twinkling H2Os, put glaze on the rose and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

Ich habe Ben mit Twinkling H2Os coloriert, etwas glaze über die Rose getan und ein paar Highlights mit einem weissen Gelstift gesetzt.

The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy's German, round "Cheers to you" sentiment collection. There is an english version too.

Der Text ist von Whiff of Joy's runder "Ich trink auf dich" Textkollektion, hinterlegt habe ich es mit ausgestanzten Kreisen von Spellbinders.

Whiff of Joy's February release: Dancing in the rain

Thank you for all your lovely comments about my new line of patterned paper! I enjoy using it very much and hope that you will love it too :)
In February, Whiff of Joy also comes up with a set of fun Ben and Nora stamps, illustrated by Alison Acton. I couldn't decide which one to use first, because they are all so cute, but this Ben, dancing in the rain instantly stole my heart ;)

Vielen Dank für all eure lieben Kommentare zu dem neuen Motivpapier, dass ich selbst entworfen habe. Ich bin davon ganz begeistert und hoffe, dass ihr es auch sein werdet, sobald es erhältlich ist :)
Am ersten Februar gibt es bei Whiff of Joy auch ein süßes Set von neuen Ben und Nora Stempeln, illustriert von Alison Acton. Ich konnte mich gar nicht entscheiden, welchen ich zuerst verwende, da sie alle so niedlich sind. Ben im Regen hat mein Herz allerdings sofort erobert :)

Introducing the new Whiff of Joy Spring Paperpad 6x6 - Cardmaking Video

Hi everybody! I am very excited to be able to show you Whiff of Joy's gorgeous new paper collection, which I designed myself :) These fabulous papers will be released on February 1st, together with our new stamp collection. They come in a 6x6 paperpad, printed on high quality 160g white cardstock. I created the below card using papers from this versatile collection.

Einen schönen Mittwoch wünsche ich euch!
Heute habe ich sehr aufregende Neuigkeiten für euch. Und zwar gibt es ab 1. Februar ein tolles neues Papierkit von Whiff of Joy, welches ich selbst entworfen habe :) (da könnt ihr euch sicher vorstellen, wie aufgeregt ich bin es euch zu zeigen!)
Dieses neue Papierkit kommt in einem Block in der Größe 15x15 (6x6'') und ist auf 160g weissen Cardstock gedruckt. Die folgende Karte habe ich mit Papieren aus der neuen Kollektion gebastelt.

I created a video showing how I did the card. I am talking German in the video, but at least you can see how I did it :)

Ich habe ein Video gedreht als ich die Karte gebastelt habe. Es ist auf Deutsch, vielleicht schaut ihr mal rein :) (Teilweise ist der Ton etwas verschoben, bitte entschuldigt dieses technische Problem)
