Introducing "Forever in Love" and Caribbean Flair halfpearl collection

Wedding month may is right around the corner and I am able to share another romantic new stamp from Whiff of Joy, prefect for this occassion.
I used a lot of flowers and other embellishments on this wedding / anniversary card, to make it very special.

Der Hochzeitsmonat Mai steht vor der Tür. Passend zu diesem Thema kann ich euch heute einen weiteren romantischen, neuen Stempel von Whiff of Joy zeigen.
Auf meiner Hochzeitskarte habe ich sehr viele Blumen und andere Verzierungen verwendet, um sie extra-speziell zu machen :)

Stamping & More Video #13 – create a paperbag card

This weeks video is about creating a card using a blank paper bag as basis. This is a fun way to hide a little message inside the bag or to give away a little something in a special packaging.

Das Video dieser Woche zeigt wie ich eine Karte aus einer Papiertüte gestalte. Diese Kartenart ist ein ausgefallener Weg um eine kleine Nachricht zu verstecken, oder eine Kleinigkeit zu verschenken.

The bird stamp I am using is a new stamp from Whiff of Joy, perfecty in time for the wedding month may :) It will be available on May 1st together with some other great new products. The sentiment is from the new text collection I already showed you yesterday.

Der Stempel mit den 2 süßen Vögeln ist ein neuer von Whiff of Joy, perfekt für den Hochzitsmonat Mai :) Es wird ihn ab 1. Mai geben, zusammen mit ein paar anderen tollen Neuigkeiten. Der Text stammt wieder von der neuen deutschen Textkollektion, die ich schon gestern erwähnt habe :)

During the workshops I gave at the ArtSpecially show in the Netherlands, I was able to colour a lot of stamps with Twinkling H2Os. I love it to have a lot of images already coloured in. This way I have plenty of time to create the layout of my cards.

Während den Workshops, die ich auf der ArtSpecially in den Niederlanden gegeben habe, konnte ich einige Motive mit Twinkling H2Os fertig colorieren. Ich liebe es einige fertig colorierte Motive zur Hand zu haben. So kann ich mich ganz auf das Layout meiner Karten konzentrieren :) After colouring sweet Nora with Twinkling H2O, I used the cracked glass technique to give her a vintage look.
Nachdem ich die süße Nora mit Twinkling H2O coloriert hatte, habe ich die "cracked" Glas Technik angewendet, damit ich einen Vintage Look erziele.

The sentiment is from a NEW German sentiment collection, which will be available in May. It is already my favourite one :)

Der Text ist von einer brandNEUEN Textkollektion, die ab Mai erhältlich sein wird. Die Textideen stammen von der lieben Sonja, die Umsetzung erfolgte von Ann Vento. Die Kollektion ist schon zu meinem neuen Liebling aufgestiegen :)

I found some more photos of the ArtSpecially Stamp Show in the Netherlands which we attended last week. Oh boy is it already one week?? How time flies :)

Vintage gift tag

A friend turned 40 last week. I put a little gift together and decorated a tag. It was for a man, that's why there is no pink in it...haha

Ein Freund wurde letzte Woche 40. Ich habe ein kleines Geschenk zusammengestellt und einen Tag (Anhänger) dekoriert. Da es für einen Mann war habe ich kein rosa verwendet..haha The base of the tag is Tim Holtz's grungeboard (love this stuff). I cut the tag mayelf, inked it with distress ink and stamped the background. I used crackle paint on the boarders.

Die Basis des Tags, das ich selbst zugeschnitten habe, ist Grungeboard von Tim Holtz (ich liebe das Zeug :). Mit distress inks habe ich den Tag eingefärbt und dann den Hintergrund gestempelt. Rund um die Ränder habe ich crackle paint benutzt. Enjoy the weekend!
