To touch lives forever – new at Whiff of Joy

This littel girl is one of the most charming new stamps, which will be released at Whiff of Joy tomorrow. Don’t you just love how shy she offers the apple to her favourite teacher? :)

Dieses süße Mädchen ist einer der reizendsten neuen Stempel, die morgen von Whiff of Joy neu herausgebracht werden. Ist es nicht zum Verlieben wie schüchtern sie ihrem Lieblingslehrer den Apfel anbietet? :) Tomorrow I will show you a product review in my weekly video, introducing a fabulous new range of glitter pens, which I was able to acquire for the Whiff of Joy store. You know how much I love to colour all the little details on our stamps with glitter pens and I found the perfect product, which met all my high requirements :) But more of it tomorrow!! 

Morgen habe ich eine Produktvorstellung für euch in meinem wöchentlichen Video. Ich werde euch eine neue Kollektion von aussergewöhnlichen Glitzerstiften vorstellen, die ich für den Whiff of Joy Shop bekommen konnte. Altered Memory Board – more of WoJ’s new Back2School stamp collection

I had this stunning wooden Memory Board from Kaiser Kraft in my stash for ages – never came around to alter it. The new school stamps from Whiff of Joy gave me the right motivation to get started :)

Ich hatte diese hölzerne Erinnerungstafel von Kaiser Kraft schon seit einer Ewigkeit bei mir herumliegen – ich fand einfach nie die Zeit es zu verarbeiten. Die neuen Schulstempel von Whiff of Joy haben mir jedoch die richtige Motivation gegeben endlich etwas daraus zu machen :)

 I started with stamping the entire board with Stempelgledes Vintage Garden stamps with clear embossing ink, then embossed it with white embossing powder. All borders are painted with white crackle paint to give the board a slight vintage look and feel.

Ich habe den Rand des gesamten Boards mit Stempeln von Stempelglede “Vintage Garden” und farbloser Embossing Tinte bestempelt. Danach habe ich es mit weissem Embossing Pulver embosst. Alle Ränder sind mit weisser “crackle paint” (Krakelierfarbe) bemalt, damit das Board einen leichten Vintage Look erhielt.

I coloured the cute little owl with Twinkling H2Os and put glossy accents on the glasses.

Die kleine, süße Eule, illustriert von Elisabeth Bell, habe ich mit Twinkling H2Os coloriert, auf der Brille ist Glossy Accents.

   

I put all kind of embellishments around the notepapers. Lace, flowers, swirls, a keyhole and stomes, which I collected along the river, which flows through our town.

Ich habe alle möglichen Verzierungen rund um die Notizblätter aufgeklebt. Spitze, Blumen, ein Schlüsselloch, ausgestanzte Schnörkel und kleine Steine, die ich bei dem Fluss, der durch unsere Stadt fließt gefunden habe.

The ribbon is plain cream. I stamped it with the “123456789” image, included in one of Whiff of Joy’s new school stamps, and wlanut stain distress ink.

Das Band ist eigentlich unbedruckt und cremefarben. Ich habe es mit dem “123456789” Stempel, der bei einem der neuen Schulstempel von Whiff of Joy" inkludiert ist, und mit brauner Distress Tinte (walnut stain) bestempelt.

This was a super fun project to create and I will try to get another memoboard to do another alteration :)

Das war ein wirklich tolles Bastelprojekt, das mir viel Spass gemacht hat. Ich werde versuchen noch so ein MemoBoard zu bekommen, um noch eines zu gestalten :)

No. 1 teacher – NEW!! Whiff of Joy’s June release

It is the perfect time for Whiff of Joy’s new “Back2School” stamp collection, illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. Kindergarten is coming to an end for this year and I will use the new images to create “Thank you” cards and gifts for my sons’s teachers. They have been wonderful over the past year and I want to honour their efforts :)

Die neuen Schulstempel von Whiff of Joy hätten zu gar keiner bessern Zeit erscheinen können. Das Kindergarten- Jahr neigt sich dem Ende zu und ich werde Dankeskarten und kleine Geschenke für die Lehrer meiner Söhne basteln. Sie waren einfach wunderbar und das soll honoriert werden :)

My card hides a secret message underneath the coloured image. I adhered it with dimensional adhesive to be able to hide the tag.

Meine Karte verbirgt eine geheime Nachricht unterhalb des colorierten Motivs. Ich habe es mit Abstandshaltern aufgeklebt, damit ich den Tag darunter verstecken kann.
